FFA has hosted a number of small, intimate, and pool weddings in the past. Here are a few guidelines to help you determine if we are the right venue for your special event:
Accommodation
There is a minimum 2 nights booking. Sleeps 12 pax on beds. Additional 13th-20th pax on mattresses at RM85/pax. A chalet (for 2) nearby (50 meters away) is available for RM350/night.
Capacity
Limit up to 150 pax. Cars up to 40 on site (includes subcontractors), with additional parking at the bottom of Jalan Far Far Away (700 metres).
We have a one-way traffic road the last 700 metres up to Far Far Away.
Rela personnel (RM400 for 4 people) will be employed to handle traffic flow & parking.
Best suited for an event that guests arrive at about the same time.
Kenduri style events that have guests arrive staggered e.g. 11am – 4pm will be difficult for traffic management.
Food catering & tents, decor etc.
We are not wedding / event planners. We provide location, covered areas, cooking facilities and tables. Chairs and tablecloths need to be hired. Tables can seat 150
All rubbish from third party vendors to be taken away from premises.
On top of the minimum 2 nights booking at published rates, we have a RM35 day guest charge for each additional guest above 6 years old, for each day. We would require a security deposit for this event. This will be fully refunded after the event is over subject to premise being left in satisfactory condition.
An example of budget calculation for venue rental (assume 100 adult guests)
Far Far Away 2 nights minimum
(up to 12 pax sleeping overnight):
